1. When we choose blowers, the main parameters we consider are inlet temperature, inlet density, air capacity, pressure, atmospheric pressure, altitude, motor speed, motor power, etc.
2. The Blower classification by pressure:
High pressure blower (2.94-30kpa): Roots blower, multistage centrifugal blower, high pressure centrifugal blower
Medium pressure blower (0.98-2.94kpa): medium pressure centrifugal blower
Low pressure blower (< 0.98kpa): low pressure centrifugal blower, axial flow blower
In the selection, the nature, use, air capacity, temperature and other parameters of the delivered gas shall be taken into consideration, so as to select the corresponding type of blower.
3. When selecting the type of blower, the air leakage loss and calculation error of the pipeline system, as well as the negative deviation of the actual air volume and air pressure of the blower shall be considered. Generally, the safety factor of the air volume is 1.05-1.1, and the air pressure is 1.10-1.15 (generally considered by the design Institute). However, it is not suitable to use too large safety factor to prevent the blower from operating in the low efficiency area for a long time.
4. Pay attention to the matching relationship between pipe network resistance characteristics and blower characteristics. In order to ensure the stable operation of the blower, the blower shall work near its highest efficiency point, and the working point of the blower shall be located on the right side of the peak point of total pressure in the performance curve (i.e. the side with large air volume). The efficiency of the blower under the design working condition shall not be lower than 90% of the maximum efficiency of the blower.
5. When the variable frequency blower is adopted, the total pressure loss calculated by the system shall be the rated wind pressure, but the blower motor power shall be added 15% ~ 20% to the calculated value
6. When the operating conditions (such as gas temperature, atmospheric pressure, etc.) of the blower are inconsistent with the sample operating conditions of the blower, the performance of the blower shall be corrected.
7. When selecting blowers, we should carefully compare them and give priority to products with high efficiency, small size, light weight and large adjustment range.
8. When selecting blowers, we should not only consider the one-time investment, but also consider the long-term economic operation effect.
9. When multiple blowers operate in parallel or in series, the same type of blower should be selected.
