System monitoring of Multistage centrifugal blower

1. Surge monitoring

If the blower is equipped with PLC control cabinet, the monitoring is set. When the blower reaches the working speed, set the trip point slightly higher than the surge point, and observe the motor current reading during operation. When the current decreases to the surge set point, the motor should speed up immediately.

2. Bearing temperature monitoring

The bearing temperature alarm setting has generally been set before leaving the factory, that is, 105 ℃ alarm and 110 ℃ trip, which is not allowed to be changed; Generally, the exhaust temperature of the blower will not exceed 120 ℃. If it exceeds this temperature limit, the manufacturer must be consulted, otherwise the user will bear all consequences.

3. Vibration monitoring

The vibration sensor must be firmly installed on the blower bearing pedestal, and all wires shall be shielded and fixed according to the manufacturer's recommendations. It is recommended that the minimum setting of vibration alarm is 4.5mm/s and the minimum setting of shutdown is 6.3mm/s.
